I'd consider it a blessing in disguise. Maybe this will show Anet that all they need to do is make a similar thing for trade.

yeah, my new characters can get hats!!! but kinda makes me a bit upset since I stayed up all halloween to get hats for all my toons that day.....

and happy that they are now starting the heros at level 15---wish they would update the ones my characters got already (my poor Yuki has a level 9 koss and such....how utterly useless, my new monk now has them all at level 15 without the fuss, she is glad she waited

).
